It’s that time of year where we update readers on large construction projects in the south Kansas City area. A few have dropped off our list while others are near completion.

Mayfair at Woodbridge – The former skilled nursing home at Blue Ridge and Wornall has now completed its conversion into a 133-unit apartment comp lex. IronDoor Development is now pre-leasing one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 550 to 1450 square feet. Pricing starts at $1500 per month and includes in-unit washers and dryers. Amenities include rooms for gaming, studying and working out. Extra storage units and bicycle storage are also available. The location is on the bus line and touted as only a three-minute ride to Avila University.
Cable-Dahmer Intake Center (Sutherland’s) – Cable-Dahmer Auto Group has purchased both the former Sutherlands and Paint Ball properties located on the south corners of 135th and Holmes. The Sutherland’s facility is being renovated into a new vehicle intake center for the dealership. Cable Dahmer is adding a new building exterior, asphalt parking lot and security fencing. “We are cleaning it up for the neighborhood,” says Cable Dahmer CFO Rick Van Zon.
