KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A 53-year-old Minnesota man has died after his motorcycle veered off I-35 and struck a guardrail in Kansas City’s Northland.
The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, on southbound I-35 near Pleasant Valley Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the driver was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson when the motorcycle veered off the left side of the roadway and hit the guardrail. The impact threw the driver into the left lane.
The driver, from Albert Lea, Minnesota, was wearing a helmet, according to officials. He was pronounced deceased at North Kansas City Hospital around 4:20 p.m…
