The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) has announced the arrest of Collin K. Goodsell, 28, of Peculiar, Missouri, following a sexual assault investigation led by the agency’s Troop A Criminal Investigative Unit.
Authorities reported that in December 2025, DDCC was asked to examine allegations of sexual assault involving an employee of the Belton Police Department. After conducting its investigation, investigators established probable cause on Feb. 12, 2026, to arrest Goodsell on suspicion of raping an adult woman.
Goodsell was taken into custody in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, on Feb. 12 and subsequently transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on an investigative hold.
