KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A massive pothole on State Line Road near West 57th Street has grown so large that neighbors are calling it a ditch, forcing drivers to swerve around the 5-foot-long, 3-foot-wide, 5-inch-deep crater.
The pothole sits on the Missouri-Kansas border, and the boundary line makes it Kansas City, Missouri’s, responsibility to repair.
Lauren Taylor, who lives in the neighborhood and drives by the pothole daily, said the hole has gotten significantly bigger recently.
“I do feel like, I am not sure why, but it’s just, it’s gotten a lot bigger. Especially cause I’m like I try swerve as much as I can a lot of the time and I think I’m having to do that a lot more,” Taylor said…
