So, why are they back on the market?
According to Visit KC, ahead of every tournament, FIFA works with local hotels to secure rooms for its visiting staff, partners, and others. The organization tends to secure more rooms than needed in each city, with the understanding that they will confirm the final number of rooms at least 120 days before the tournament starts.
