Aside from dealing with a rash of thefts from its assembly plants and nearby storage lots, Ford has also faced issues with vehicles being vandalized at those same facilities, too. In fact, it was just around a year ago that the Ford Chicago Assembly plant saw a number of employee-owned vehicles get vandalized, broken into, or stolen, crimes that took place in an employee parking lot that’s located directly across from the automaker’s training center on Torrence Avenue. Now, a similar problem has struck the Kansas City Assembly plant, where the Ford F-150 and Transit are built.
