JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) – Johnson County Med-Act is activating its all-hazards plan – the same framework used during COVID-19 – to prepare for the FIFA World Cup, according to Division Chief Chris Winger.
The agency is restricting staff vacation, adding an extra ambulance from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and deploying clinical teams to watch parties across the county, with two clinicians on-site at a minimum.
