Bonner Springs Police charge suspect who left sick puppy to die in a tote

BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. (KCTV) – Bonner Springs Police have charged a suspect after a puppy was found abandoned in a tote last week.

The Bonner Springs Police Department said on Wednesday, March 11, that tips from community members were key to identifying and charging the suspect with animal abandonment.

During contact with the suspect, investigators indicated that two additional puppies were surrendered to authorities. Both are now receiving veterinary care.
