6 hospitalized after rear-end crash on Main Street, police say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Six people were hospitalized Saturday after a two-vehicle crash on Main Street, according to the Kansas City Police Department.

Officers responded to 3832 Main St. at approximately 12:36 p.m. A preliminary investigation indicates a dark gray Chevrolet Impala carrying five female occupants was stopped in the streetcar lane in front of a business when a gray Chevrolet Malibu traveling southbound on Main Street from 38th Street struck the Impala from the rear.

All individuals involved were transported to area hospitals for treatment. A passenger in the striking vehicle is listed in critical condition, police said…
