On 3/13/26 just after 10 p.m., a deputy with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Unit attempted to stop a vehicle for multiple traffic violations in the area of SW Outer Rd. and Pine St. in Archie.
The driver failed to yield to the deputy’s emergency equipment and a pursuit ensued.
He fled northbound on I-49 at a high rate of speed…
