KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A St. Louis man is dead after a plane heading to New Century AirCenter crashed.
FOX 2 News in St. Louis reported that the crash happened Tuesday at about 3:40 a.m. at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Officials say the aircraft was an Aero Commander 500B, a small cargo plane, that crashed short of the runway. Only the pilot was on the aircraft at the time of the crash, FOX 2 reported…
