Following a pet retailer’s move across city lines from Overland Park to Lenexa, a different business is already in the works to replace it.
Clothing retailer Burlington has filed plans to open a new store in the Overland Park space — which, according to the company, is currently slated for a spring 2027 opening.

Burlington is coming to 11620 W. 95th St.
- The store is coming to a space just off 95th Street and Quivira Road, where Overland Park and Lenexa meet.
- Pet retailer Petco previously occupied that space, before relocating to a space at the Orchard Corners shopping center nearby in Lenexa.
