LENEXA, Kan. (KCTV) – A man who was found guilty more than two decades after a stabbing in Lenexa killed a woman has received his sentencing.
On Friday, the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office announced that Angel Maria Herrera has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for premeditated murder and 34 months for aggravated burglary.
His sentences are set to run consecutively.
Herrera was found guilty of stabbing Maria Morfin-Rojas to death on or about Sept. 9, 2005…
