Restaurant reservation and review website OpenTable says these restaurants and bars should be on visitors’ radars when they come to Kansas City for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
OpenTable’s latest ranking includes 11 spots, ranging from areas by the Country Club Plaza to the Power & Light District and Union Station, which is near the site of the World Cup Fan Fest on the lawn outside The National World War I Museum and Memorial.
“Home to one of America’s most fiercely debated barbecue traditions, a thriving steakhouse scene, and a restaurant community that punches well above the city’s weight, KC has long been a serious dining destination for those in the know,” OpenTable said in the ranking. “Now, with Kansas City stadium confirmed as a host venue for the 2026 summer of soccer, the city is preparing to welcome the world — and its food and drink scene is more than ready for the occasion.”…
