Man dies after shooting at convenience store near 55th and Prospect in KC

A man died after being shot Friday morning at a gas station and convenience store in Kansas City, a police spokesperson said.

Officers responded shortly before 10 a.m. to a reported shooting at the Phillips 66 near the intersection of East 55th Street and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City’s Town Fork Creek neighborhood , said Officer Alayna Gonzalez of the Kansas City Police Department.
