PENSACOLA, Fla. — On Monday, vehicles will return to Palafox Street in Downtown Pensacola following the five-month long rejuvenation project.
Since it reopened within the past week, the street has been pedestrian-only.
“I would encourage people to take it slow,” said Adrianne Walker, Pensacola strategic initiatives project officer. “We have put in a lot of different measures to really slow down traffic and also balance safety with our pedestrians. So we do have a series of four-way stops much like before.”…
