POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Monday evening car crash in Davenport took an unusual turn when one driver allegedly fled the scene on an electric bicycle, while the other driver ended up in federal custody.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at around 6:11 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the intersection of US 27 and Citrus Ridge Drive.
