SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Navarre woman was hit by a car while riding a bicycle Sunday afternoon in Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to an FHP news release, a grey Hyundai SUV, driven by a 22-year-old Birmingham woman, was traveling east on U.S. Highway 98 through the intersection of Sunrise Drive around 2:20 p.m. when the 53-year-old woman was riding her bicycle diagonally across the intersection from the northwest corner of Sunrise Drive.
The bicyclist rode in front of the SUV, and was hit by the car. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition…
