Escambia County Planning Board approves OLF-8 mixed-use plan change request

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A developer picked by Escambia County to redevelop the OLF-8 property is seeking major changes to the site’s master plan, including a new land-use designation that residents say could shift the project’s focus toward housing.

Tri-W Development and Chad C. Henderson Enterprises are asking the county to change the future land use designation to mixed-use urban for the entire site.
