Caroline Powell has been named head coach of the Pensacola State College softball program following 10 years as an assistant coach for the Pirates and as the sports information director for PSC Athletics. She brings championship-level coaching experience, a proven track record of developing successful student-athletes, and a wealth of institutional knowledge to her new role.
Since joining the PSC staff in September 2016, Powell has been instrumental in all aspects of the softball program, including recruiting, player development, game preparation, practice planning, scouting and program administration. With her as an assistant coach, the program has produced 50 All-Panhandle Conference selections, 10 FCSAA All-State selections, two NJCAA All-America selections and a two-time FCSAA State Player of the Year.
