PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A final historic flight for a U.S. Naval aircraft. The C2 Greyhound has been a part of the U.S. fleet since the 1960s and flew for the last time Tuesday at NAS Pensacola.

“It’s well known for the mail,” Commanding Officer Paul Ingram said. “But every single thing we bring out of the carrier’s got some kind of meaning to somebody.”
A kind of aircraft that has carried mail to and from home since its introduction into the fleet in 1966. It’s connected thousands of Naval personnel to loved ones around the world.
