How building food structures can help hungry Pensacola families

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Manna Food Pantries in Pensacola is inviting teams to show off their skills while helping local food-insecure families with Pensacan 2026, according to event organizers.

According to a Manna news release, teams will compete to create “impressive structures” made entirely out of cans of food. The structures will be on display for a week before then being disassembled and given to those in need.

The event is a joint effort of the American Institute of Architects of Northwest Florida, Cordova Mall, where the structures will be displayed, and Manna Food Pantries…
