Pensacola, FL – The potential for tornadoes will increase across portions of the Florida Panhandle Friday afternoon, Oct. 9, before spreading northward into parts of Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina on Saturday as Hurricane Isaias approaches the central and eastern Gulf Coast.
According to NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center, the developing tornado threat is associated with Isaias, with the timing and severity dependent on the hurricane’s track and intensity.
