SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – Florida Highway Patrol officials say a pedestrian was killed Sunday morning after being struck by an SUV on CR-197 (Chumuckla Hwy).
They say the crash occurred around 12:15 AM on Chumuckla Hwy just south of CR-191 (Willard Norris Rd).
FHP says a 46-year-old Jay woman was traveling north on Chumuckla Hwy in a sport utility vehicle, and the pedestrian, who is an unidentified male, was traveling north on foot along the northbound lane when he was struck by the front right portion of the SUV…
