Pensacola woman charged with attempted murder after firing 13 shots into ex’s apartment

Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 23-year-old Pensacola woman Wednesday for attempted murder after she allegedly fired over a dozen shots into a Jasmine Creek apartment.

Deputies arrested Nykeria White on two counts of attempted murder, firing a weapon on residential property and property damage after allegedly trying to kill her ex-girlfriend.

White and the owner of the apartment were in a two-year relationship that had ended a few weeks before the incident, according to a police report.

According to a report, White allegedly came to her ex-girlfriend’s door and began banging on it, asking for her to open the door.

While banging on the door, surveillance camera’s pick up White allegedly saying, “If you have any respect for me you will open this damn door.” She eventually said, “You wild as f*** and before I leave her I’m gonna shoot.”

The victim told law enforcement she believes White may have noticed the vehicle of another woman who was also at the apartment.
