Perdido Key, Fla. – (OBA ) – The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has announced the temporary closure of the recreational harvest of spotted sea trout in the Western Panhandle Management Region. This suspension, effective from February 1, 2024, encompasses areas within Escambia County, beginning at the Orange Beach city limits, through parts of Gulf County west of 85 degrees, 13.76 minutes west longitude. Notably, Indian Pass or Indian Lagoon are not included in this closure.
