Man arrested after allegedly leading Escambia County deputies on chase

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly led Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies on a car chase.

Officers began chasing a Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen, according to a Facebook post from ECSO . The chase began on Michigan Avenue and ended when a “pursuit intervention technique” was used on Montgomery Drive.

Delarrian Martez Black Jr., 28, was arrested and charged with grand theft auto, fleeing and eluding, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of cocaine.
