Anglers Blaine Kenny and Dylan Wier, shark fishing guides with Costal Worldwide, say they set a new record catch on Monday morning. The two anglers have been featured on WKRG News 5 for other big catches, including a 10-foot Great White Shark and an 800-pound Tiger Shark , but they say their latest catch beat their other catches.

According to estimates, the Great White Shark Kenny and Wier caught was 12 feet long and weighed over 1,100 pounds.

The anglers say they used “massive bait” in their nearly hour-long catch. In their attempt in a YouTube video uploaded to Coastal Worldwide , Kenny and Wier describe the catch at a “roller coaster”, noting that they thought the shark got loose at one point.
