The results found that Monroe County ranks as the least affordable place to purchase a home in the Sunshine State, clocking in at a dizzying median house price of $954,012, while the least expensive county, Glades, came it at a modest $113,951.

Santa Rosa County homes 31.8% more expensive than Escambia County
The average home on the market in Escambia County is about $293,139, according to FloridaRentals.com. That’s 31.8% lower than Santa Rosa County’s median home price of $386,391.
That puts Santa Rosa County at No. 25 on the list, 16.8% higher than the state average and Escambia at No. 37 on the list, 9.6% lower than the state average.
