The Foley police department is investigating a shooting incident that happened on Sunday, February 4th. At around 7:12 P.M., the department received multiple calls about gunshots heard near Juniper St. and Azalea Ave. A family later reported to the police station with a damaged vehicle, stating that their vehicle’s back glass was shattered near the same location.
The damaged glass was located on the 600 block of South Juniper St. The family involved, a husband and wife with their two children, are the victims in this case. The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects or motives have been identified yet.
The police department does not believe the family was the intended target of the shooting. They are considering the possibility of mistaken identity. No evidence has been found to suggest a larger conflict involving firearms.
