Downtown Pensacola’s country nightclub Wild Greg’s raised some eyebrows when announcing its downstairs expansion with a full restaurant menu last month. The restaurant is opening at 22 N. Palafox St. at the former location of the Cactus Cantina, which has relocated to the former Fin & Fork restaurant building on East Gregory Street.
Wild Greg’s has long occupied the space above the eatery where it build up a reputation for offering a rowdy, good time. Now its working to expand that reputation to offering speedy, good food. Here’s what the new space looks like and what’s on the menu:
What is on the Wild Greg’s menu?
Wild Greg’s Owner Greg Urban said that the new menu is intended to reflect the downstairs feel of the space, which caters to a more family-friendly crowd. You’ll find a variety of comfort food classics prepared by head chef Leroy Hill, who joined Wild Greg’s after cooking for the Pensacola Beach Resort. The menu breaks down into main items, appetizers, sides and desserts. Urban is hoping to cater to downtown’s weekend lunch crowd, as well as the late- night crowd, through a menu filled with foods that are “tasty, but quick.”
