It’s never too early to look ahead, and Kansas has offered many athletes as of late. One of the more recent offers is Grant Wise from Pace High School in Milton, Florida. Wise is a 6-foot-3 300-pound frame on the offensive line as a 2026 prospect. He has received plenty of offers in the past including Kansas, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, and more.
Wise plays under head coach Kent Smith. Coach Smith recently took the time to speak with Blue Wings Rising about the high-level prospect to break down him as a player and a person on and off the field.
“Grant is fundamentally the best lineman I have ever coached. He also plays at a high-intensity level. He does a great job at finishing blocks as well.” Following his opening statement coach Smith dove deeper into the ability that Wise possesses on the field. “He does a lot that is impressive. He never misses an assignment. He is equally impressive when run-blocking as he is when pass-blocking. He also has not given up a sack his 9th or 10th-grade year.”
