Pensacola man accused of drug trafficking: ECSO

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A man was arrested after deputies pulled him over and allegedly saw him throw out a bag of fentanyl, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post .

ECSO pulled a car over on Sunday and allegedly saw the driver, identified as 37-year-old David Lee Cordaro Dotson, throw a bag out of the driver’s side window.

The post said the bag was found and had 17 grams of fentanyl inside it. A scale, marijuana and $947 in cash were found in the car, according to the post.

Dotson was arrested and charged with trafficking over 4 grams of fentanyl, destruction of evidence, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
