Foley woman accused in shooting after argument: FPD

FOLEY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Foley woman is accused of shooting another woman after an argument, according to Foley Police.

According to an FPD news release, police officers, the Foley Fire Department and Medstar responded to a disturbance call on the 1000 block of East Bullard Ave on Wednesday, Sept. 18, around 8:45 a.m.

When officers arrived, they reportedly found a 66-year-old with gunshot wounds to her right arm and right hip.

She was taken to Sacred Heart in Pensacola, where she’s being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. She is expected to be released soon, according to FPD.

57-year-old Sandra Jean Foster was arrested. She is charged with first-degree assault.

According to the FPD release, police said this was an isolated incident that occurred after an argument between the two women who are “associates.”

The police department also said there is no threat to the public at this time.
