Three dead in triple-vehicle crash after two motorcycles collide with car on Michigan Ave

A triple-vehicle crash has left all three drivers dead after two motorcycles collided with a vehicle early Friday morning on Michigan Avenue.

A sedan driven by a 42-year-old Pensacola woman was stopped at a stop sign southbound on Clearwater Avenue at the intersection of West Michigan Avenue at approximately 12:04 a.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

A motorcycle driven by a 22-year-old Pensacola man was traveling westbound in the outside lane on West Michigan Avenue, approaching the intersection of Clearwater Avenue. At the same time, a second motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old Pace man was traveling westbound in the inside lane on West Michigan Avenue, approaching the intersection of Clearwater Avenue.

The sedan made a left turn onto West Michigan Avenue, directly in front of the two motorcycles. The front of the motorcycle driven by the Pensacola man collided with the sedan’s left side, while the front of the motorcycle driven by the Pace man collided with the sedan’s front left.
