Elks Lodges in Northwest Florida team up with United Cajun Navy to provide disaster relief supplies

PENSACOLA, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Local organizations are stepping up to help communities devastated by Hurricane Helene. Among those are the Elks Lodges of Northwest Florida and The United Cajun Navy.

According to organization officials, they are teaming up to collect supplies that will be taken to hurricane victims.

Some of the things they’re looking for include non perishable food items, diapers, hygiene products water, and gas cans.

“We’re always here to help people. This is really important for us because this could be us. I mean this could be us next week you know so it’s super important for us to help everyone,” Jennifer McGregor, Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge member said.

They will be collecting goods and donations throughout the weekend. Those who wish to donate can drop off supplies at the Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, and Fort Walton Beach Elks Lodges.
