Man killed in Escambia County after vehicle fully engulfed in flames Sunday: FHP

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A man died Sunday after a crash left his vehicle fully engulfed in flames, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The FHP crash report said a 65-year-old man was killed when his vehicle left I-10 near mile marker 36, collided with the woodline, and became fully engulfed in flames.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene, according to FHP.

The crash happened on Sept. 29 around 11:50 a.m. on I-10 eastbound.
