A Pensacola man died Wednesday night after being shot several times in the 3300 block of Fairfield Drive.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the gunshots around 9:30 p.m. and deputies found a male with multiple gunshot wounds. Department spokesperson Sgt. Melony Peterson told the News Journal the man was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.
The ECSO says the investigation remains ongoing and no suspects have been identified.
