Two people arrested by Escambia deputies for drugs, fleeing

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Two people from Santa Rosa County face drug charges, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post .

A deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle of 34-year-old Joseph Brazzell early Saturday morning, but then led deputies on a chase on W Street in Pensacola.

Deputies later found the vehicle at Chimes Way Skate Park, where Brazzell fled, but was caught.
Deputies say a search of the vehicle revealed more than 28 grams of Oxymorphone, meth, marijuana, mushroom and other paraphernalia.

Brazzell is charged with drug trafficking, possession of meth, fleeing from police, resisting without violence, marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license. He was booked in the Escambia County jail at 5:04 a.m Saturday.

20-year-old Lacey Pittman, the passenger in the vehicle, is charged with meth possession and drug paraphernalia. She was booked in the Escambia County jail at 5:07 a.m. She was released on bond late Sunday night.
