Gather, A Culinary Collective, debuts on Pensacola’s westside offering unique dining options

Pensacola Cooks has debuted its new sister restaurant, Gather, A Culinary Collective , this month at 41 S. Navy Blvd. in the former Ceviche 805 restaurant space.

Not only will the Gather provide commissary kitchen space and food truck plug-in stations for local restauranteurs, but also a shared dining room for chefs to host rotating pop-up breakfast, lunch and dinner services throughout the week. The line-up will be posted on the Gather website every Sunday on social media and on the Pensacola Cooks website under the “Gather” tab.

Some of Gather’s current vendors include Luther’s Touch of Heaven , Ethiopian Cuisine By Friends , Sweet Love , Pipasnacks and Steel Pony Diner. However, there may be more on the way since there’s room for about eight companies to get placed on the pop-up schedule, according to Denise Shelton, Gather’s director of operations.

The rotating schedule of chefs keeps meals interesting for customers, who may be able to have a Portuguese “Prego” steak sandwich served with a garlicky red wine jus at lunchtime, then enjoy some Ethiopian lamb ribs around the table for dinner.
