Congratulations to Navarre High School’s Sophia Brown . Brown is this week’s Escambia and Santa Rosa County High School Student of the Week.
Brown won with 39.77 percent of the vote. Runner up Carly Anderson finished in second with 35.91 percent of the vote.
A new week of voting will start on Tuesday, Nov. 19 so make sure to vote!

Navarre High School – Sophia Brown
Sophia Brown, ninth grade : Sophia Brown is our NHS nominee for Student of the Week. Sophia is involved in many activities at the high school through sports and clubs. Currently, she is on the Freshman Class Board and a member of the soccer team. Sophia has great leadership skills and demonstrated that during the Hall of Treats. She jumped in and helped organize her peers, delegate responsibilities, and even problem-solved a mid-event candy shortage. In her spare time, she loves to read, Math and History are her favorite school subjects. Her future plans include either becoming a children’s psychiatrist or a pediatrician. We are tremendously proud of her and appreciate her leadership.
