Texas men arrested in Santa Rosa, allegedly connected to multi-state ATM robberies

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla ( WKRG ) – Three men from Texas are accused of robbing ATM’s in at least three states, according to an SRCO Facebook post .

Wednesday, deputies pulled over a vehicle in Pace and claim the vehicle was linked to a series of ATM burglaries.

The sheriff’s office says the men are based out of Houston. A search of the vehicle revealed a trafficking amount of fentanyl powder, 24 bags of synthetic cannabinoids (or spice), marijuana, and ATM burglary tools.

18-year-old Andrew Bishop, 19-year-old Brad Fokam and 20-year-old Dylon Thomas are each charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of synthetic drugs with intent to sell and possession of controlled substances. Fokam and Thomas were also charged with providing false identification to law enforcement.

The sheriff’s office say these men are connected to a Texas-based group that has burglarized ATM’s in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

The sheriff’s office says the Houston-based group would jam a bank machine with a glue-covered card. Then they’d wait for a technician to come and repair the machine and rob the technician once the machine is opened.
