Grover’s Fingers and Wings owner Michael Graham and his business partner, Santa Rosa County home builder Mike Price, have big plans to bring a new restaurant to Pace’s Five Points area . However, they will first need permission from the county to rezone 2.61 acres of vacant land from residential to commercial first before any work can begin.
Price, who co-owns Grover’s up and coming Milton location and future locations after that, said the two purchased the property at 3280 Tunnel Road earlier this fall in hopes of developing a third Grover’s restaurant.
The rezoning issue will be discussed at 6 p.m. Thursday before the Santa Rosa County Zoning Board, then again before the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners, which makes the ultimate decision, according to Price.
The full Grover’s rezoning packet can be found here .
“We hope that we get the ability to get the ball rolling,” Graham said. “We’re just trying to rezone…. I think it’s pretty safe to say we’re going to be tied up for a couple of years. We’re not pulling the bulldozers tomorrow, we’re just trying to cut some tape here, that’s all.”
