Escambia County Public Schools students will be required to be in school Feb. 17 to make up for missed school days during last week’s historic snow storm. Initially, Feb. 17 was scheduled as a professional development day for teachers and staff, but it will be necessary to use the day to ensure ECPS remains in compliance with Florida Department of Education instructional time parameters, district officials said.
