PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The city of Pensacola is known for its immense military community, as the home of the Naval Air Station Pensacola. Pensacola Navy Days aims at celebrating the community and honoring the military history in the city.

“Navy Days was established to provide the local community with a vehicle to recognize and honor those warriors who have for over two centuries lived and worked among us in times of peace and war,” said Capt. Daniel McCort USN (ret), president of Navy Days 2025.
Navy Days first event is happening on Friday, April 18 and the last event will happen on May 11.
The events for this year are below:
- Pensacola Gallery Night
- Friday, April 18 | 5 to 9 p.m.
- “Downtown Pensacola’s popular Gallery Night will be themed for Navy Days/Military Appreciation to honor the men and women serving our country. Wear red, white, and blue and join in the festivities.”
- Pensacola Navy Days at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos
- Thursday, April 24 | 6:05 p.m.
- “Celebrate with the Blue Wahoos at a Thirsty Thursday game! Look for a special Navy Days jersey auction featuring custom jerseys by J. Gosling attire. Navy Days team members will be on-site to answer questions.”
- Golf Tournament – sponsored by Astro Lincoln
- Friday, May 9 | 8 a.m. (check-in), 9:30 a.m. (shotgun start)
- A.C. Read Golf Course
- “Compete for the honors in categories like Best Overall, Best Military Service Team, Best Active Duty Mil/Civ Team and Best Old Times Award.”
- Night at the Museum Gala – sponsored by PenAir Credit Union
- Friday, May 9 | 6:30 p.m.
- National Naval Aviation Museum
- “Enjoy cocktails at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:30 p.m., and dancing at 8:30 p.m. Dress: Black Tie or Service Mess Dress.”
- Navy Days 4K Run/Walk
- Saturday, May 10 | 8 a.m.
- “A unique 4K (2.4-miles) course starting at Plaza DeLuna and looping through Downtown to Veterans Memorial Park and back.”
- Fun Fest at Plaza DeLuna
- Saturday, May 10 | Begins at 9 a.m.
- “Family fun with a Kids Zone, food trucks, military vehicle displays, ROTC demos, USCG vessel tours, and a military/veterans fair.”
- Navy Days Parade
- Saturday, May 10 | 10 a.m.
- “A waterfront parade featuring military equipment, marching squadrons, Sailors of the Year, bands, drill teams, and support from local Mardi Gras Krewes.”
- Tour U.S. Coast Guard Cutters
- May 9-11 | Time TBD
- “Public tours of USCG Cutters: Walnut , Willow, Joshua Appleby, Harry Claiborne , and Barbara Mabrity , docked at Plaza DeLuna.
