Each May, we proudly recognize the extraordinary dedication of health care professionals across the country during several national observances that are especially meaningful to us at Baptist Health Care . This year, we celebrate Nurses Week (May 6–12), Hospital Week (May 11–17), and Emergency Medical Services Week (May 18–24). These observances give us a moment to pause, reflect and offer heartfelt gratitude to the people who deliver care with compassion and commitment every single day.
At Baptist, our more than 4,500 team members serve in roles that span from bedside to behind the scenes, from clinical care to essential support services. While our responsibilities may vary, we are united by one Mission: helping people throughout life’s journey.
Each year, our team provides care through more than one million encounters, many of them during moments of great need or crisis. But their service doesn’t stop at the doors of our hospitals, medical parks and clinics. Our team members actively give back to the community, volunteering time and expertise with more than 75 local nonprofits and community organizations.
