PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Escambia County Sheriff’s Office officials arrested a man on May 11 after he allegedly assaulted the mother of his baby who was nine months pregnant.

According to the arrest report, 34-year-old Jason Cornell Hawkins pushed the woman in her face on April 1 while she was in labor at Sacred Heart Hospital.
After that, the woman allegedly asked Hawkins to leave, but he refused.
The arrest report said Hawkins then threatened to shoot “anyone that kept him from seeing his baby,” including the baby’s mother.
Hawkins eventually walked out of the room, which is when a nurse asked if she was ok, according to the report…
