Since the early 1980s, Pensacola Sports has proudly celebrated the dedication, talent, and heart of our area’s top senior student-athletes through a scholarship recognition program. High schools across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties nominate outstanding seniors who have excelled in their respective sports, both on and off the field. Many of those recognized over the years have gone on to play college and professional sports.
A selection committee, made up of educators, community leaders and Pensacola Sports board members, carefully reviews each anonymous application, honoring those whose character, leadership and achievements truly stand out. From these sport-specific winners, Pensacola Sports is honored to recognize one exceptional young man and woman as overall scholarship recipients. In addition, this year Pensacola Sports has added girls flag football to the list of our included sports. Congratulations to all of our winners.
