Ferry Pass hosts neighborhood cleanup

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Missed spring cleaning? Not a problem! On Wednesday, July 9, residents of Ferry Pass will have the opportunity to participate in a neighborhood cleanup. Residents can dispose of various items, completely free of charge.

A few examples of items that can be removed include:

  • Household appliances and electronics
  • Household junk and debris
  • Bicycles and toys
  • Old furniture and mattresses
  • Barbecue grills
  • Household hazardous waste (old paint, motor oil, chemicals, batteries)
  • Tires (limit 10 per household)
  • Yard debris (tree cuttings, branches, etc.)

Items that cannot be removed include:

  • Building materials (concrete, bricks, blocks, roofing, drywall or lumber)
  • Explosives or ammunition
  • Auto parts
  • Dirt or sod
  • Vehicles or vessels
