PENSACOLA, Fla. — Pensacola Police Chief Eric Randall has resigned. City officials broke the news in a press release Thursday, simply stating that Randall is no longer the chief — effectively immediately.
Mayor D.C. Reeves has already named an interim replacement. He met with members of the police department Thursday afternoon. No word yet on what they discussed.
The city has shared very little information about why Randall resigned. Many people in the community are not happy to see him go…
